Diogenes Law is the home base for Hannah S. Marcley, esquire. Hannah is an experienced government accountability attorney, with a long history of advocating for transparency. She has successfully litigated public records cases at the trial and appellate level, including convincing the Washington Supreme Court to interpret the state constitution in favor of disclosure within her first year as a licensed attorney. Since then, she has joined several transparency organizations including the Washington Coalition for Open Government, the National Freedom of Information Coalition and the Virginia Coalition for Open Government. Hannah uses this broad base of information to conduct trainings and CLEs on making effective records requests for policy advocacy or litigation.
Hannah also hosts a podcast, Revealed, where she tells stories we found out the hard way: through public records and FOIA requests. In researching for her podcast and in advocating on policy issues close to her heart, Hannah also uses public records and FOIA requests so you can trust that she has every reason to be up to date on the best practices and legal changes that might affect your case.
Hannah is a zealous transparency advocate and will not represent any party that wishes to oppose disclosure of a record.
